How does SendPost work?

Email API and SMTP relay to send, measure, alert and optimise email sending at scale. We provide you with tools, expertise and support needed to reliably deliver emails to your customers inboxes on time, every time.

How to get started?

Once your SendPost account has been verified, you can start sending emails. Every account has 1000 email credits. Once you have used them, you need to upgrade to a paid plan.

How do you measure the number of emails and validation credits used?

Every time you send an email to a recipient, it is deducted as 1 email credit from your email API Plan. This occurs irrespective of whether the email has been delivered, bounced or deferred by SendPost. Likewise, every time you use our API to validate an email, it is deducated a 1 validation credit from your validation API Plan.

How does your billing work?

Upon signup, you will only be billed the prorated amount of the selected plan for the current month. After that, your monthly plan cost and any extra emails and validations you use will be billed at the start of each month for the previous month. If you decide to cancel your account, any remaining balance due will be charged before the account can be closed.

You can also work with our deliverability team to evaluate your entire email program and get a detailed assessment to help you identify areas for optimization, such as configuring your IPs correctly or diagnosing email deliverability issues.
